I wanted to express my extreme pleasure in dealing with Urbanscape Self-Watering Planters. I first learned of your company through an email advertisement that came up and I was intrigued. I had a discussion with the City Manager and we decided that we would try your planters out in front of our City Hall and Police station. I can tell you that I am pleased. I was pleased that you took the time to answer my questions. I was pleased with how easy it was to order the planters and I was even more pleased when we saw them in person. Although spring is just starting here in Brunswick, Ohio, we are getting very excited to see these planters in front of our City Hall and they will make our residents very proud every time they visit.
In 2018, we decided to look into replacing our heavy cement planters with self-watering planters. The city is continually expanding plantings in existing and new parks, and our time spent watering planters and hanging baskets was eating into our time needed for planting and maintenance. 2021 marks our third year replacing existing planters. We have found that the use of Urbanscape self-watering planters has cut our time spent watering by two-thirds. Our hanging baskets (over 60) alone required watering every day and sometimes twice a day, including weekends. Now we are able to water them once a week except during extended periods of extreme heat, when we water twice a week. The large planters only need watering every 7 – 10 days depending on the weather. I have been very pleased with the product. When we received two or three planters that did not fill the reservoir with water, they were replaced without any question. This year’s order will complete the replacement of all of our old planters and baskets and additional planters are being purchased as well. The watering is now a much easier task and the plants flourish, even in the hottest weather. It has been a pleasure to work with Peter and Urbanscape Planters.
The Inglewood BIA is delighted with the new Urbanscape self-watering planters. Not only do they look great, and fit well on the sidewalk… because of the reduced demand for watering, they save significant dollars and are much better for the environment. And they are made in North America!! My only regret is that the BIA did not make this transition sooner.

We bought your Uptown 28 planters 2 years ago. They were a huge success!
These planters are durable, look great, and have taken our hanging baskets and stationary planters to a new level. The stationary planters were able to handle an extremely hard winter that included low temperatures of -25 degrees F (NOT including windchill), 40-60 mph winds, large amounts of snow, and even a run-in with a car during one of our blizzards. We are looking forward to our second year of planting with these and continuing to use them for years to come.
I have also attached pictures of them in full bloom last season. Unfortunately you can’t see the hanging baskets through the flowers, but that just means they were super happy!
Spring has finally sprung in Buffalo. We had success wintering over bulbs in our Urbanscape Self Watering Planters.
To enhance Downtown Charlottetown Inc. award winning beautification product and our Adopt a Corner project we had the need to seek out beautiful, large, planters.
What we found were made of concrete or stone and not practical to use, move, maintain or ship. We were delighted when we spotted the Urbanscape Self Watering Planters at an IDA trade show.
Upon approaches we assumed the planters were stone, of course we discovered they were not. The variety of colours, shapes and sizes was impressive. The fact that they were self-watering was an exceptional, practical and welcomed feature. With one hand and little effort even the largest of the planters could be easily moved. The product is extremely affordable as is the shipping. When we received our planters, on time and to order, we were not disappointed. They were easy to plant and maintain and are beautiful on the street. We wouldn’t hesitate to order more and in fact we have. It was a pleasure to deal with Peter and the Urbanscape team whom we found to be professional, knowledgeable and accommodating. An excellent product, and great company which we as a Downtown organization would highly recommend.
Urbanscape Self Watering Planters has provided us with modern, progressive planters that provide an efficient watering system that saves my staff time and we see a vibrant plant now as a result. The community and our horticulturalists love them and they have made a most beautiful impact at our Cenotaph , delineating the walkway.
Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is located in Buffalo, New York. Our primary mission is medical care, research, education and prevention of cancer. Greenery enhances our campus environment but it must not become onerous as staffing is limited. Therefore, the planter selection was required to be impermeable to severe weather conditions, and hold a water supply for at least one week. Our first planter order was for the 9th and 10th floor south facing terraces of our new building. We continue to be very impressed with the performance and have since placed 2 more orders.
