Designed and crafted in North America, Urbanscape Self Watering Planters are built to withstand our harsh climates and will not crack or fade even in freezing conditions. Our commercial grade planters are double wall constructed and feature Drain Free Winterization. What this means is that the built in water reservoirs that hydrate your plants all summer long do not need to be drained before winter freeze up. Ice will simply expand up the double constructed walls for worry free winterization. Our goal at Urbanscape Self Watering Planters is to keep landscaping simple, beautiful, and labor free.

Winter Planter Arrangements

The same design principles apply to filling planters with greenery for the winter as with filling them with plants for the summer—the only difference is that your greenery isn’t going to grow, so you don’t have to calculate any of that. Great planters have thrillers, fillers, and spillers. For winter planters, a thriller might be birch boughs or berries.

A spiller would be those lovely evergreen boughs that spill over the side of your container and finally a spiller could be colorful sticks such as willow, dogwood, or even pine cones. Generally, the more textures and colours you add, the more interesting your arrangement will be.
